KINGS 12 [Sunday sermon- Church unlimited too]

But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” Gal.3:13

Rehoboam ascends to the throne- yet God fulfills the prophecy of Ahijah- given to Jeroboam in the last chapter-
1Kings 11:31 And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:

The kingdom is rent [10 tribes] and given to Jeroboam.
