THE BREAKING IN OF THE KINGDOM- BEHOLD THE LAMB

https://ccoutreach87.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/12-3-14-teaching-in-san-antonio.zip

I taught yesterday in San Antonio- BEHOLD THE LAMB

http://wp.me/a4V5qQ-7X   Radio show

Ok- I am going to try and segue into the fulfilment of the promises that we have been covering for the last few months

The appearing of Christ- what we call The Advent- which we celebrate at this time of the year [December 25th].

Jesus comes into the world- thru a Virgin- Mary.

If you read the Prophetic Praise/prayer of Mary- found in Luke- you see the Hope of Israel- for the coming of a deliverer who would save the people of God from their oppressors [remember what I said- in the videos- about Christ/Messiah- like the judges of the Old Testament- they came to deliver the people from oppressive rule].

We call this prayer of Mary- ‘Mary’s Magnificat’ [Latin for ‘my soul magnifies the Lord’]- she is the chosen one- to have the promised child.

The prophet Malachi spoke about a Forerunner- one who would come before Christ-

The bible refers to him as Elijah- who would prepare the way for Christ.

Jesus tells us that John the Baptist was the fulfillment of this prophecy.

John makes the great declaration ‘Behold- the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world’.

REPENT- AND BE BAPTIZED- ALL OF YOU

John’s ministry was- well- rough.

Jesus said ‘what did you go out to see- some timid guy dressed in expensive clothes? No- but a prophet- and more than a prophet- this is the one spoken about who would prepare the way’ [these are my own paraphrases- I’m writing them ‘on the fly’- when I do this I’ll try and copy the exact verse at the bottom].

It’s significant that John- In his first prophetic announcement of Christ-  ‘sees’ a LAMB.

Remember what I said when teaching the book of Revelation- that the apostle John [not the same John] also saw a LAMB [They were both functioning in a prophetic/apostolic role when they made these proclamations- remember what I said in our videos? How the church is a spiritual temple- built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets- meaning their teaching- the things God revealed to them- so they SEE Jesus as the Lamb- because this kingdom will be established on the Death and resurrection of Christ- note in the scriptures I pasted at the bottom- How the Lamb is ‘the light’ of this city- how the revelation [understanding] of Jesus as the final Lamb sacrifice is indeed the foundation that the Apostles/Prophets built the church upon]

Luke 1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord

Luke 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

Luke 1:48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

Luke 1:49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

Luke 1:50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

Luke 1:51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

Luke 1:52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

Luke 1:53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away

[just a note here- this becomes one of the major themes in the ministry of Jesus- and the Apostles- especially James letter[ not the apostle- but the brother of Jesus- who was the main leader at the Jerusalem church- read about him in Acts 15]. The rich are often contrasted with the poor- and in a negative light. I could give many scriptures on this. The point being that in today’s Protestant world- there is a focus on wealth- the obtaining of it- yet- a careful reading of the New Testament does not follow this very popular line of thought- and we already see this in this prophetic proclamation of Mary].

Luke 1:54 He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;

Luke 1:55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. Malachi 4:5-6

Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see ? A reed shaken with the wind? 8 But what went ye out for to see ? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold , they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. 9 But what went ye out for to see ? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. 10 For this is he, of whom it is written , Behold , I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence , and the violent take it by force . 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come . 15 He that hath ears to hear , let him hear  Matthew 11

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith , Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29

And looking upon Jesus as he walked , he saith , Behold the Lamb of God! John 1:36

And I beheld , and, lo , in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain , having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Revelation 5:6

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying , Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints

And he saith unto me, Write , Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of theLamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Rev 21:23

NOTE- The proclamation of John ‘Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world’- In Latin the term is Agnus Dei- as a boy we sung this hymn in Catholic church ‘Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world- have mercy on us’.

[Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis.- this is the full phrase in the Latin – taken from John’s declaration- where the Christian song/chant comes from]

NOTE- I could have done an entire post- just on the prophetic ministry of John- but I added these at the end so you could get a flavor of how the prophetic ministry does indeed speak ‘truth against power’- in the case of John- he not only proclaimed Christ- but in these verses you see how he challenged Herod- over sexual indiscretion- sleeping with his brother’s wife.

Now- as you read these verses- that’s actually what got him killed-

When John called people to repent- much of it had to do with the issue of lust- the disciples- and Jesus cast out ‘unclean spirits’-

I wanted to write a post on how the world is indeed polluted- by us!

Huh?

One of the major snares- for sin- in the world today- is pumped into the nations- by the United States.

‘Wow- John- you are nuts’

Ok- lets talk a bit.

When I wrote on addiction recovery- from a Christian perspective- I honestly said I believe the root of addiction is lust.

When they executed Ted Bundy- he was going to give an interview [as well as Dahmer]- but- some in the media did not want him [as many other serial sex crime killers] to ‘mention’ the addiction to porn- and how in most of the cases of severe sex crimes- all around the world- this is indeed a major factor.

Why didn’t the media want to bring this up?

Many see it as a ‘freedom of speech’ issue [which is nuts] and many practice lust.

The U.S. is by far the number one country in the word who pumps porn into the nations.

Now- see an interesting thing here- the Muslim nations we fight- outlaw porn.

They do all they can to block it from the internet in their countries- but the reality is people in these nations do find ways to get around it- and still access it.

Now- these nations are fighting- hard- to block it- from us.

What’s our response- in a nutshell ‘we will never stop- it’s the number one money maker from on-line viewing- we produce the lions share of it- and tough- we will never stop blasting all nations with it’.

Ok- yet- it is also a major factor in all sex crimes in the world.

In revelation we read how ‘Babylon’ pollutes the whole world thru her fornications.

We do indeed do this- and if you understand the connection and how it’s the major factor of all sex crimes- in the world- you can see how when John the Baptist challenged Herod- over an unclean sex issue- that this was indeed a challenge that cut to the heart of sin- see?

And there followed another angel, saying , Babylon is fallen , is fallen , that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

And upon her forehead was a name written , MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying , Babylon the great is fallen , is fallen , and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying , Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come .

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying , Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down , and shall be found no more at all.

LISTEN CAREFULLY HERE- The number one connection to sex crimes across the globe- is indeed porn addiction.

The U.S. sees this as a ‘freedom of speech’ issue- and will not stop pumping it- into nations- who see it as a sin- because of religious conviction [Islam].

Yet- in the Christian bible- it is also a very serious sin-

Now- we pump the world with it- nonstop [you should look at the stats] and these countries simply can’t stop their people from feeding on it- no matter how hard they try and block it.

Look at what I just said carefully- in this one area- we are the world’s biggest contributors to ensnaring the world in this area- which the verses above talk about- how ‘the world is polluted by her fornications- she MADE all nations drink of her uncleanness’.

And the reason why the U.S. allows it- is varied- but the porn industry- is the biggest financial money maker- by far- for all on-line stuff.

Now you can see why Herod was mad about John- and he was so afraid of him- when Jesus came on the scene- he thought John came back from the dead!

1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2 And saying , Repent ye : for the kingdom of heaven is at hand . 3 For this is he that was spoken of by theprophet Esaias, saying , The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of theLord, make his paths straight. 4 And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and aleathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then went out to himJerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, 6 And were baptized of him inJordan, confessing their sins. 7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come tohis baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from thewrath to come ? 8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: 9 And think not to say withinyourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees:therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down , and cast into the fire. 11 Iindeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I,whose shoes I am not worthy to bear : he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 12Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into thegarner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

1 And it came to pass , when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, hedeparted thence to teach and to preach in their cities. 2 Now when John had heard in the prisonthe works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, 3 And said unto him, Art thou he that shouldcome , or do we look for another? 4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew Johnagain those things which ye do hear and see : 5 The blind receive their sight , and the lame walk , the lepers are cleansed , and the deaf hear , the dead are raised up , and the poor have the gospel preached to them . 6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. 7 And asthey departed , Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out intothe wilderness to see ? A reed shaken with the wind? 8 But what went ye out for to see ? A manclothed in soft raiment? behold , they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. 9 But what went ye out for to see ? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. 10 For this is he, ofwhom it is written , Behold , I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy waybefore thee. 11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greaterthan he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven sufferethviolence , and the violent take it by force . 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied untilJohn. 14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come .

10 And hisdisciples asked him, saying , Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come ? 11 And Jesusanswered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come , and restore all things. 12 But I say untoyou, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever theylisted . Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. 13 Then the disciples understood thathe spake unto them of John the Baptist.

12 And they went out , and preached that men should repent . 13And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them. 14And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said , That John theBaptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him. 15Others said , That it is Elias. And others said , That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets. 16But when Herod heard thereof, he said , It is John, whom I beheaded : he is risen from the dead.17 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison forHerodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife: for he had married her. 18 For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother’s wife. 19 Therefore Herodias had a quarrel againsthim, and would have killed him; but she could not: 20 For Herod feared John, knowing that hewas a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, andheard him gladly. 21 And when a convenient day was come , that Herod on his birthday made asupper to his lords , high captains, and chief estates of Galilee; 22 And when the daughter of thesaid Herodias came in , and danced , and pleased Herod and them that sat with him , the kingsaid unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt , and I will give it thee. 23 And he swareunto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom. 24 Andshe went forth , and said unto her mother, What shall I ask ? And she said , The head of John theBaptist. 25 And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked , saying , I will thatthou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist. 26 And the king was exceedingsorry; yet for his oath’s sake, and for their sakes which sat with him , he would not reject her. 27And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought : and hewent and beheaded him in the prison, 28

http://wp.me/a4V5qQ-7W  Radio show 615-

I actually found a way to talk about the Mafia- and Pizza parlors in this one. As I review these old tapes- I’m surprised how many deal with Ecclesiology [the nature of Church] –

in this one I used a sort of parable from the well that Jacob fed the flocks out of- I also talked about how the women [moms] of the promised kids- were all barren.

Meaning when God made these promises that they would have many kids- he picked men/women- who had a difficult time conceiving.  The apostle Paul uses this analogy- quoting Isaiah in the book of Galatians ‘more are the children of the desolate- than of the married wife’.

In Galatians Paul says ‘see? – the children of the Promise are the heirs- not those born from the law’- these are indeed themes I have been hitting on in our videos.

So- I figured being I just reviewed this old message- might as well do a brief commentary- and post it- enjoy.

NOTE- In this post/video- I have 2- because Cameron called while I was taping- so- it stopped.

I’m glad he called- he’s heading off to greener pastures- and we will do a bon-fire going away fellowship at the beach in a few hours- might catch that on tape.

OK- last post/video I talked about John as the forerunner- he was preparing the way for the Messiah.

Now- John was the epitome of the Old Testament type prophet- if I did an entire study on Prophets- and Prophecy- we would see a difference between Old and New Testament prophets [but- New Testament prophet’s can- and often are- just as ‘strong’ as Old Testament ones- I talk about this below].

But- I don’t want to cover that now.

But- I do want you to get a feel of the Prophets-and how they functioned.

These men were called of God to speak the words of God- but also to be for signs and ‘wonders’-

They challenged corrupt kings/rulers- and like the Apostles of the New Testament- they went thru lots of trials- and were often in physical danger- for their lives.

The apostle Paul said ‘I die daily’ and in context he was talking about risking his life on a daily basis.

So- don’t get me wrong- the Prophets were not getting into fights with people [Though we do have a case or 2 were they chopped some heads off!].

But- along with their gift- there was indeed a ‘violent’ aspect- John the Baptist faced physical danger- and did get his head cut off.

Paul the apostle had multiple times where he was almost killed- and there is a passage of scripture where Paul refers to a ‘man he knew- whether in the body- or out’ where some scholars think Paul was talking about himself- after he was stoned and possibly killed- and God brought him back.

Either way- we see that with the proclamation of the Gospel- there was this ‘living on the edge’ lifestyle that went along with it.

In our day- maybe we don’t see this aspect as much- in the U.S. – but in foreign lands- many missionaries/pastors do face death threats on a daily basis.

1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory . I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell ; or whetherout of the body, I cannot tell : God knoweth 😉 such an one caught up to the third heaven. 3 And Iknew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell : God knoweth 😉 4 Howthat he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for aman to utter . 2nd Cor 12

And why stand we in jeopardy every hour? 31 I protest by yourrejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily . 32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink ;for to morrow we die . 3

In the following verses- taken from the Prophets of the Old Testament- you can get a feel of their callings- God was cleansing them from sin- he was purifying them- so they could be an instrument of justice to those in authority- wicked rulers- etc.- and they would indeed suffer for their callings.

There are many passages- too many to copy- but I have been reading these the past few days- and thought my on-line friends might benefit.

When you [me] speak into a people group- in a way you are ‘pouring’ into the community you speak to.

God showed me years ago that the group you speak into will in a way ‘shape’- limit- or expand the message.

Now- don’t get me wrong- you should never shape your message to fit- or please men.

But what I’m talking about is if you’re speaking to a few people- or believers that are young in the Lord- then for their benefit- you speak at a level that would benefit them.

Now- the prophets were not really speaking to people in the same way the simple gift of prophecy works [1Corinthians 14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.]

Yet- to ‘rebuke/correct’ in love- does edify- some feel correction is not part of the New Testament gift- but in actuality- it is.

The simple gift- mentioned in Corinthians- speaks unto men to ‘edification- exhortation and comfort’.

But Prophets- especially in the Old Testament [but not limited to Old Testament prophets- this is a mistake that some who have taught on the gifts have made- understand- that the book of Revelation itself- the ‘prophetic’ book of the New Testament- though penned by an Apostle- did challenge world systems [Babylon is fallen- etc.] and was penned under the New testament gift- given to John and the others- after the ascension of Christ- they wrote these things functioning under the Spirt of God- in the ‘church’ age]- they were speaking both to God’s people- repentance- and pronouncing coming judgment on leaders- nations that forgot God.

1Corinthians 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

1Corinthians 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

1Corinthians 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

1Corinthians 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

1Corinthians 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

1Corinthians 12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

1Corinthians 12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

1Corinthians 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

1Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

1Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down , and cast into the fire.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear : he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee , cut them off , and cast them from thee : it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? [NOTE- This verse is key- it shows you that the ‘baptism of fire’ is not destructive- in the end. But is intended to bring forth holiness. Those who do not ‘submit to the fire’ will continue to live in the lust of the flesh- and in a sense- ‘burn’ in bondage- daily].  For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but tosave them. And they went to another village.

I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I , if it be already kindled ?

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered ; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned .

And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

Zechariah 3:1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

Zechariah 3:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

Zechariah 3:3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

Zechariah 3:4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

Zechariah 3:5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.

Zechariah 3:6 And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,

Zechariah 3:7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.

Zechariah 3:8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

Zechariah 3:9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Zechariah 3:10 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.

Zechariah 12:1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

Zechariah 12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

Zechariah 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Zechariah 12:4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.

Zechariah 12:5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.

Zechariah 12:6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

Zechariah 12:7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.

Zechariah 12:8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.

Zechariah 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Daniel 12:5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

Daniel 12:6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

Daniel 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Daniel 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Daniel 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

Daniel 12:13 But go thou thy way till the end be for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Revelation 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

Revelation 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Revelation 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Revelation 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Revelation 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

Revelation 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

Revelation 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Revelation 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Revelation 11:9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

Revelation 11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

Revelation 11:11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Revelation 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Revelation 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

MURDER OF ERIC GARNER CONSIDERED JUST

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die ; and thou givest him not warning , nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life ; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die ; if thou dost not speak towarn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Ezekiel the Prophet

I never planned on talking/writing this much- once again- about police abuse.

But- Christians- in my view- need to speak out on issues when they happen.

I could run down and give you an on-going- nonstop- case after case- litany of official misconduct- every day- by Cops.

Just a reminder- of some I have read/covered these past few years.

Cops use their data base- tracking phones- all the tools at their disposal- illegally- to find out information on spouses who are divorcing them- who are in child custody battles.

One tracked  info- planted drugs in his ex-wife’s car- and put the woman in prison- until he finally was caught- after a very difficult time- because the system works hand in hand- even with corrupt cops.

Cops- while enforcing the law- break it on a daily basis.

Oh- how about the cop who was having sex with a 15 year old [I think she was 15- or younger?].

This went on for quite some time- never reported by his fellow officers- until the girl went to the hospital- and at that time the law required it to be reported- that’s when it was dealt with- he’s in prison today.

How about the 25 years I worked at the Fire Dept.?

Many occasions where multiple officers were on top of a suspect- and the suspect could not breathe- and yes- died.

A Captain told me one day that these cops were killing these guys- yet- after their deaths- if they had any drugs in their system- which was common- these deaths were reported as drug deaths- which was false [99% of these victims were minorities].

As Paramedics/EMT’s- these suspects were plainly being killed- by what we call the Mechanism of Injury- meaning they died because multiple cops were on top of them- and they couldn’t breathe- yet- it never stops- nor do I think it ever will.

It was humiliating to see Eric Garner plead for his life- saying 11 times ‘I can’t breathe’- and yet- this murder is considered just- how can that be?

More than one time- driving to- or from work- I was pulled over illegally- I talked about these cases.

I knew the cop had no cause- I was in uniform-[which looked just like a cop uniform] as they approached my vehicle- as soon as they saw me- thinking I was either a cop- or some other type of law enforcement officer- they did not even come to the window- they left- realizing it was a false stop.

One time coming back from Kingsville- a constable or DPS officer drove up to my rear- doing about 100- I thought he was going to ram me.

He did not know I was a firefighter- never stopped me.

He obviously was trying to get my vehicle to swerve- and maybe do something.

I was still driving and called the local P.D. and told them some nut is running people off the road.

All of these guys were in uniform- on duty- carrying guns [these guys are a danger!]

I gave you cases of cops threatening people- making threats ‘disappear- or I’ll make you disappear’.

I gave the names- first and last- of the persons that told me these things- and the officer.

These reports fall on deaf ears- you say ‘wow- I didn’t know they could do that’.

Why?

Did you not see an actual video of an innocent man being murdered- and they got away with that.

I could go on- forever- but I think you got it.

What we saw in the Eric Garner murder- was a clear case of- well- murder.

Now- once again- the grand Jury said it’s ok for multiple cops- to kill an innocent Black man- father of 6.

I think it’s futile to try and deal with these never ending injustices- by going to ‘the system’.

Al Sharpton and others are trying to pass new laws that would require all innocent people murdered by cops- to go to the Federal Level.

I’m not against it- but the problem is systemic- in many ways.

I do not advocate violence- the Mayor of New York recently said he told his son- who is black- that he has taught his son when he is pulled over to be careful reaching for his cell phone.

The Head of the Police union called him a Moron [Oh sorry- moronic].

That cop should be fired- for publicly besmirching the guy in charge of New York- but if nothing happens when they murder innocent Black Men- well I think you’re getting it.

These cops operate out of a sense of impunity- whether it’s threatening – or murdering- people.

Running them off the road- using – illegally- the dept. computers- data bases- I mean these are NOT ONE TIME INCIDENTS.

I worked with them for 25 years.

THESE ARE NOT JUST A FEW BAD APPLES.

The average person on the street is simply not aware of it- because they have not dealt with it.

But if you are a Black kid- in a tough inner city area- maybe like Camden.

Yes- the crime rates are high- and I am not excusing that many of the crimes are committed by these kids in these areas.

But you don’t realize that many of the cops do indeed see these kids as having no value- some spend their days looking for excuses to ‘get them’.

I just told you how I myself have been illegally stopped- until the cop thought I too was a cop!

Now- what if I were a Black man?

Reaching for his license- after the cop asked- and then got shot.

Or the black Father of 6- who ‘might’ have been selling ‘looseys’-

No- the problem is systemic- and the system will never fix itself.

NOW- Unless you think the murder of Eric Garner was just- the bible says you must speak out- because surely we all saw- on a national level-a wicked thing.

Oh-no video on this one- we already have one.

GO AHEAD- KILL ME- I DARE YOU

Posted this about 2 days late- I have been sick- but wanted to get this up before the week was out- enjoy.

In today’s video- shot about an hour ago, you’ll see a kid walk up.

He heard me teaching- and wanted to talk.

I had a good talk with Santiago- spent about an hour with him- doing ‘ministry’- I’ll probably be on the streets today anyway- working with some guys.

Santiago was interested- he told me he just turned 18- and finished with probation- he wants to stop smoking pot- that’s his hindrance.

I told him that when I was in AA/NA- to my surprise- some of the people in the meetings were there for Pot.

I see that it is an addiction- more than I realized.

I told him I was in AA for a while- but am no longer with them.

I explained the simple gospel to Santiago- told him to start with reading the gospel of John- just a chapter a day.

I explained how we get free from addiction- as a gift.

Jesus took those sins into himself on the Cross- and died with them in him.

I advised him to find a good church- start reading the bible- and have a purpose for life.

He told me his dad used to be a heroin addict and is now clean for 5 years- doing well.

I told him I have worked with many guys- like his dad- for many years- and yes- it is possible.

So- I hope to post this post soon- as soon as the video uploads- God bless [after this- I did some more street outreach- few more stories at the bottom for those who are interested].

Ok- in our line of teaching we have come to the time of the appearing of Christ on the scene.

All Israel were waiting for a promised Messiah- and the events surrounding the birth of Christ pointed to him- he was born in the place the prophets spoke about.

The wise men saw his star [a sign- even among the other religions- that a great leader was to arise].

Word was out- that a new king was on the way.

Now- King Herod got word- and attempted to kill the child before he could enter into his purpose.

We read various accounts of this attempt- even the Apostle John spoke about it in his Revelation [Dragon trying to devour the child as soon as he was born].

Why?

John’s prophetic book was penned at a time where the fledging church would continue to face severe persecution under the corrupt government of his day.

And the initial attack- by the authorities- to snuff out the Christ- continued for the first 3 centuries of the modern era against his followers.

Various emperors- who were famous for sexual sin [Caligula] did kill the early followers of Christ.

In the book of Revelation we read symbols- how when government becomes wicked- they still have the tools to make edicts- that normally would be considered wicked.

When I wrote about abortion- and make no mistake about it- the dismembering of many thousands of children in the womb that takes place – legally- every day- in this country- is an ‘edict’ that under righteous rule would never happen.

There are many countries- who justly consider this murder [as the bible also says].

Yet- how could our country do it- and we as a people become desensitized?

Because government has power- and if government is corrupt- then it also has power to allow for corrupt things.

Jesus made a strange statement once- he said ‘if these things can happen in a Green Tree- just think what will happen when it’s dry’.

What he was saying was there was a manipulation of the system- that was used to crucify him- yet- there was indeed some form of Government at the time [Roman Rule].

So- the initial attempt of Herod to kill the promised child- by murdering many innocent babies- was carried out because a wicked leader had authority given to him.

The same attempt was made at the time of  Moses- Pharaoh would kill many innocent babies- Moses survived- and was indeed a promised deliverer- like Christ.

Jesus proved himself to be the Christ by many signs and wonders [John 20:30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name].

And when he challenged the corrupt system of his day- he said ‘destroy this temple- and in 3 days I will raise it up’ [Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up .]

He spoke of his death- and notice something here- he himself said ‘destroy this temple’ speaking of his body.

There was a violent aspect to Jesus and his men- he basically was saying ‘Go ahead- kill me- I’ll be back’.

Now- he taught his men to not fear death- in order to carry out the mission they could not be afraid to die.

He gives many clear instructions about this  Death- and those seeking to kill him- and his men- death was a reality for the mission they were on.[ Fear them not therefore: for there is nothingcovered , that shall not be revealed ; and hid, that shall not be known . 27 What I tell you indarkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him whichis able to destroy both soul and body in hell. ]. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death . Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to puthim to death ; After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death . And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death . Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death .

Make no mistake about it- these early followers were radical- though Jesus instructed them not to take up the sword- yet they were not afraid of the one wielded by a corrupt regime.

Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.10 And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him. 11 And Herod with hismen of war set him at nought , and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and senthim again to Pilate. 12 And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together : forbefore they were at enmity between themselves. 13 And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, 14 Said unto them, Ye have brought this man untome, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold , I, having examined him before you, havefound no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him: 15 No, nor yet Herod: forI sent you to him; and, lo , nothing worthy of death is done unto him. 16 I will therefore chastisehim, and release him. 17 (For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.) 18 Andthey cried out all at once, saying , Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas: 19 (Whofor a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.) 20 Pilate therefore,willing to release Jesus, spake again to them . 21 But they cried , saying , Crucify him, crucify him.22 And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done ? I have found no cause ofdeath in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go . 23 And they were instant with loudvoices, requiring that he might be crucified . And the voices of them and of the chief priestsprevailed . 24 And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required. 25 And he releasedunto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired ; but hedelivered Jesus to their will. 26 And as they led him away , they laid hold upon one Simon, aCyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it afterJesus. 27 And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailedand lamented him. 28 But Jesus turning unto them said , Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not forme, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. 29 For, behold , the days are coming , in thewhich they shall say , Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare , and the papswhich never gave suck . 30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to thehills, Cover us. 31 For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold , therecame wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2 Saying , Where is he that is born King of the Jews?for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king hadheard these things, he was troubled , and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had gathered allthe chief priests and scribes of the people together , he demanded of them where Christ should be born . 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out ofthee shall come a Governor , that shall rule my people Israel. 7 Then Herod, when he had privilycalled the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared . 8 And he sent themto Bethlehem, and said , Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have foundhim, bring me word again , that I may come and worship him also. 9 When they had heard theking, they departed ; and, lo , the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it cameand stood over where the young child was . 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced withexceeding great joy. 11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child withMary his mother, and fell down , and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures,they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. 12 And being warned of God ina dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.13 And when they were departed , behold , the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in adream, saying , Arise , and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thouthere until I bring thee word : for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. 14 When hearose , he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: 15 And wasthere until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by theprophet, saying , Out of Egypt have I called my son. 16 Then Herod, when he saw that he wasmocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth , and sent forth , and slew all the children that werein Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the timewhich he had diligently enquired of the wise men. 17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken byJeremy the prophet, saying

1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moonunder her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried , travailing in birth , and pained to be delivered . 3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven;and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon hisheads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered , for to devour her childas soon as it was born . 5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with arod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled intothe wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there athousand two hundred and threescore days. 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and hisangels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not;neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out , that oldserpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into theearth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Nowis come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for theaccuser of our brethren is cast down , which accused them before our God day and night. 11 Andthey overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they lovednot their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice , ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woeto the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having greatwrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile passions: for their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working unseemliness, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was due. 28 And even as they refused to have God in [their] knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, unmerciful: 32 who, knowing the ordinance of God, that they that practise such things are worthy of death.

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Romans 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Romans 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Romans 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Romans 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Romans 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death.

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders-

Some notes on Caligula-

Philo of Alexandria and Seneca the Younger describe Caligula as an insane emperor who was self-absorbed, angry, killed on a whim, and indulged in too much spending and sex.[97] He is accused of sleeping with other men’s wives and bragging about it,[98] killing for mere amusement,[99] deliberately wasting money on his bridge, causing starvation,[100] and wanting a statue of himself erected in the Temple of Jerusalem for his worship.[94] Once, at some games at which he was presiding, he ordered his guards to throw an entire section of the crowd into the arena during intermission to be eaten by animals because there were no criminals to be prosecuted and he was bored.[101][clarification needed]

While repeating the earlier stories, the later sources of Suetonius and Cassius Dio provide additional tales of insanity. They accuse Caligula of incest with his sisters, Agrippina the YoungerDrusilla, and Livilla, and say he prostituted them to other men.[102] They state he sent troops on illogical military exercises,[69][103] turned the palace into a brothel,[46] and, most famously, planned or promised to make his horse, Incitatus, a consul,[104] and actually appointed him a priest.[78]

The validity of these accounts is debatable. In Roman political culture, insanity and sexual perversity were often presented hand-in-hand with poor government.[105]

1Timothy 6:1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.

1Timothy 6:2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.

1Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

1Timothy 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

1Timothy 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

1Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

1Timothy 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

1Timothy 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

1Timothy 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

1Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

1Timothy 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

1Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

1Timothy 6:13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

1Timothy 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

1Timothy 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

1Timothy 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

1Timothy 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

1Timothy 6:18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

1Timothy 6:19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

1Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

1Timothy 6:21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

Few more- I spent some time today at another mission- [actually talking to an old friend right now- at Burger King].

I was trying to stay ‘undercover’ not telling the guys I do ministry- retired firefighter- but unfortunately I look too much like an undercover cop- so I spilled the beans on myself.

Had too- so the new crew would know.

I talked to Charlie for a little while- he’s had a life like lots of my street friends.

He sat down at my table- did a prayer before he ate- so I sparked up a talk.

He told me that many of the guys in prison read the bible- make promises to God- but it’s just ‘jail house’ religion.

I shared the stories of my good friends over the years- many of my buddies in prison I wrote- their families were part of the little church I pastored in Kingsville.

There were some who did indeed make it- I’m thankful for that.

As I talked- I heard someone say ‘hey John’- it was Josh- another street guy who was in my meetings.

I’m glad he saw me- today was about the 3rd time at this new area- and I think the guys who thought I might have been a cop saw today that I was for real.

It always takes time for the guys to accept you- I’m used to the process-

.

I got a call from one of my boys- Cameron- while sitting at this new spot- and met him and Austin at Burger King.

That’s the 2nd video for the week- so- all in all today was a good ministry day- it benefits me to interact with the guys- I’ve been spending more time than ever ‘by myself’- working on the posts- videos.

That’s just a part- and over time- a small part.

It’s the interaction that I can’t stay away from- yeah- in a way ‘I relapsed’- meaning I’m back ‘on the streets’.

CHRIST HAD TO BE THE ONE!

NOTE- This week’s post should be good- I covered some important stuff.

So- I hate to ruin it by dealing with this- again.

Last night I watched the outrage of the mothers of Black kids who were killed- sodomized [huh? – Yeah- Abna Loiuma’s mom- her son was killed and cops stuck a stick in his rectum- famous case].

When I went thru most of my stuff- [watch the 2 videos posted recently- the ones titled ‘the videos I said I would never do’].

I realized that a cop- who I had finally met- was more than likely responsible for the many stories told me by the street guys- for many years.

I did report names- addresses- the cop.

But- because I too was threatened by the cop- followed- tracked my phone [even after I was finished with my stuff- he tracked it illegally one day- was on the other side of town- sure enough- he was waiting for me when I got out of some paint store].

People thought I was paranoid- but- they did not realize I had heard about this cop for 20 years.

Albert Hoffman has been arrested by the cop- Albert told me the cop said ‘I’ll make a charge up if I have to’.

Hugh Gaines Martin told me the same thing.

Jesse Hanley [918 West Lakeside] told me this cop planted Zanax on him- he did 2 years in prison.

He told me when he got out he said ‘do you remember me’- the cop said ‘no’.

Jesse said he told him ‘you planted Zanax on me- I did 2 years’.

Jesse says the cop said ‘O-sorry about that’.

Now- Jesse- you are not reporting this- I AM.

So- if Tommy Nichols wants to retaliate- I’m the target.

I just got tired of hearing the same story- over and over- for 20 years.

Then saw the cop do it with me [not ‘planting’ evidence- but threats- followed up].

So- to Chief Simpson- and the CCPD- here- once again- you got the names.

I shared some of this with a nice family yesterday- they said ‘you should be careful- he might get you’.

Angel told me one day that Tommy threatened some guy- said ‘I’ll find you and take my uniform off and kick your ass’.

You know- this cop has threatened me- others- got away with this for 20 years.

I’ve been waiting for him to ‘come get me’- I mean he has said words to the effect of ‘I will destroy you’.

Frankly- I’m tired of dealing with the guy.

Now- knowing he has done this stuff for many years- of course I’m paranoid when a cop pulls me over- just like the Black families of the victims who were Murdered by these same guys.

So- today I gave the names- these guys feel they have no recourse.

So- I’ll do it for them.

Sour Grapes?

NO- I realized the stuff I heard for years was true.

One last note- then the teaching for the week.

The last few years- reading thru the Gospels and Acts- I noticed something that I never really saw before.

Both Jesus- and especially Paul- spoke things in ‘the audience’ of the people- and this put a restraint on abuse.

And Jesus did this- on purpose.

Why?

If you speak the truth- that’s a good thing- and if people are hiding stuff- then there’s a heathy fear if they know it’s being brought to light- it actually will restrain the abuse.

But many who are victims of abuse- are intimidated to not speak.

Even in the case of the murder of Eric Garner- the person who took the now famous video- the cops went back and found an old case- and arrested him.

Now- you might say ‘well- he shouldn’t have had an old case’- but in reality that’s retaliation- and many of these same cops- if were looked into- have the same ‘old cases’ if not worse.

So today I did a bit more on the subject- always try and watch the videos along with the posts- they go hand in hand.

I loaded this week’s post with the many prophecies that Christ fulfilled at his appearing.

Last week I mentioned how he proved himself to be the Christ by signs and wonders- he also showed himself to be the one by fulfilling prophecies that he in no way could have manipulated [like the place of his birth].

We find the most quotes of these Old Testament prophecies in Matthews’s gospel- but they are in the other 3 as well.

Down the road- as we get into the book of Acts and the Epistles [letters that make up the bulk of the New Testament] we will see how the early apostles- especially Paul- were ‘bursting’ at the seems- trying to tell their fellow Jews ‘LOOK- HE IS THE ONE- THE ONE OUR OWN PROPHETS SPOKE ABOUT!’

It was almost as if there was a spiritual blindness [there was] over them- Paul himself uses the example of Moses- when he came out from talking with God- the bible says he ‘had a veil on his face’.

God’s glory [light] was so strong on Moses- that he put a veil on.

Paul says this same vail [see again- how he takes all these O.T. types- and sees Christ?] is on the hearts/minds of his fellow Jews- till this day.

Meaning they just could not see that Jesus was the fulfillment of these prophecies.

We as Christians have God’s Word written in our hearts- this was indeed a major change form the way the Old Testament people approached God.

In The O.T. the law was an outward thing- something the people saw- read- yet it was not ‘in them’.

The Prophets spoke of a day when the law would no longer be an outward thing- but written on the hearts of God’s people by the Spirit.

I hold to the classical view of biblical inspiration- yet at times I think the church has fallen into a sort of Bibliolatry- meaning- we can worship the bible- and yet miss the greater reality of the Word written in our hearts.

I will get to this in time- but for now- read these passages- see that Jesus- as the Word of God- did indeed fulfill what the prophets wrote- about him. [I just realized- I wrote this section- twice! My computer has been shutting down in the middle of typing- and the ‘saved original’ does not always have what was lost- so- you might read stuff twice on this post].

Jesus himself would say the same thing when he debated with the religious leaders- he said they were so caught up in ‘their bibles’ that they were not seeing the actual person that Moses and the prophets spoke of- which was him! [ Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth. 34But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say , that ye might be saved . 35 He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. 36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish , the same works that I do , bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. 37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at anytime, nor seen his shape. 38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent him ye believe not. 39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. 41 I receive not honour from men. 42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. 43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive .44 How can ye believe , which receive honor one of another , and seek not the honor that cometh from God only? 45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust . 46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?]

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said , Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent . 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded , though one rose from the dead.

NOTE- at the bottom I posted a few passages about the vail- and how today- the vail is removed- and we- the people of God- are the ‘new bible’- huh?

This takes time- lots of time- to teach.

In the Old Testament mindset- they were ‘lost’ in their detailed ‘worship’ of their scriptures [Old Testament] to the point that when the fulfillment of their bibles came [Jesus] they missed him!

Read the chapter I posted at the end- from Corinthians- in context Paul is saying ‘you guys are the NEW LETTER- no longer a dead law- book of rules- but a living community of people in whom Gods words is written- on your hearts!’

In time we will talk about the development of the Christian understanding of scripture- just to make plain- I do believe in the Inspiration of scripture- and hold to the classical Christian view [both Catholic/Protestant] yet- the great break thru of the New Covenant as Gods Word- now written [by the Spirit] inside his people.- was a drastic change from the old way of approaching God.

So- Christians at times have developed a legalistic view of the bible- and in some ways- have made the same mistakes of the religious leaders of Jesus day.

We at times ‘miss’ [don’t see him] because we neglect the Word in our hearts- and seek him thru a legalistic approach- ok- enough of that for now- we will get to this in time.

19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: 20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. 24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. 25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean : from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. 28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. 29 I will also save you from all your uncleanness’s: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.  Ezekiel

NOTE- Look at the prophecies Christ fulfilled below.

Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 1:19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

Matthew 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

Matthew 2:12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

Matthew 2:13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

Matthew 2:14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:

Matthew 2:15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Hosea 11:1 When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

Matthew 2:23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.[Note- these exact words are actually not found in the Old Testament- but- the New Testament does quote from books/translations of the Old Testament [Greek- Septuagint] that are not in the Old Testament- so- I put this Isaiah quote below because some scholars think it might refer to the above- either way- ‘prophets’ whether ones we read in the Old Testament- or not- said he would be called a Nazarene- and he was- I will teach more on these types of things in the future- the Canon of scripture- and how even some Catholic books that the Protestants reject [Apocrypha] do indeed have actual prophecies about Christ- that came to pass!]

Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Isaiah 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

Isaiah 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Isaiah 11:5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

Matthew 4:13 And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:

Matthew 4:14 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

Matthew 4:15 The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

Matthew 4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Isaiah 9:1 Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.

Isaiah 9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

Matthew 8:16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

Matthew 8:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Isaiah 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Matthew 12:10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

Matthew 12:11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

Matthew 12:12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

Matthew 12:13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

Matthew 12:14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

Matthew 12:15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

Matthew 12:16 And charged them that they should not make him known:

Matthew 12:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

Matthew 12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

Matthew 12:19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.

Matthew 12:20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

Matthew 12:21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

Isaiah 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

Isaiah 42:2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

Isaiah 42:3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

Isaiah 42:4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

Matthew 13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:

Matthew 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

Isaiah 6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

Isaiah 6:7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Isaiah 6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

Isaiah 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. 29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him. 30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone ; and they were afraid to come nigh him. 31 And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them. 32 And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh : and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai. 33 And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face. 34 But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off , until he came out . And he came out , and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded . 35 And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone : and Moses put the vail upon his face again , until he went in to speak with him.

1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we , as some others, epistles ofcommendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? 2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: 3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle ofChrist ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. 4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is ofGod; 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth , but the spirit giveth life . 7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious , so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold theface of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away : 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth . 11 For if that which is done away was glorious , much more that which remaineth is glorious . 12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished : 14 But their minds were blinded : for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read , the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to theLord, the vail shall be taken away .

John 16:1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.

John 16:2 … yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

John 16:4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

John 16:5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away:

John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

John 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot grasp them now.

John 16:32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

John 16:25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.

JUST WAS CHECKING THE NEWS- AND READ THIS- THOUGHT IT MIGHT ‘INFORM’ SOME OF US.

The arrest this week of two ex-cop private investigators — charged with felonies related to their alleged attempt to frame a Costa Mesa city councilman for a false DUI — is about more than the disturbing tactics of two hired guns. It offers insight into the way some police unions across California intimidate political opponents into silence.

This ugly story starts in 2012. Councilmen Jim Righeimer, Stephen Mensinger and Gary Monahan were loathed by the city’s police union because of their efforts to reduce pension liabilities and outsource services. Costa Mesa had become Ground Zero in our state’s battle over reform, drawing protests reminiscent of the fracas between Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and unions at the capitol in Madison.

A political dispute is one thing, but on August 22 of that year it turned into something the Orange County District Attorney says is a serious criminal matter.

Righeimer left a council meeting and met with Monahan at the latter’s restaurant and bar, drank a couple diet sodas and left. Righeimer got home and went inside his house — but soon had police knocking on his door, asking him to step outside for a DUI test. He was detained for a while, but wasn’t drunk.

The police action was prompted by private investigators Chris Lanzilloand Scott Impola, who were working for a law firm that represented more than 120 police unions across California. This included the Costa Mesa Police Officers Association, which retained it to do “candidate research.”

The two men tracked Righeimer to the bar and then Lanzillo is accused of calling 911 and reporting that a man stumbled out of the bar and was possibly drunk — and gave a description of Righeimer’s car. It seemed like a set up designed to destroy his political career. The episode so outraged Righeimer and Mensinger that they filed a civil lawsuit against the union, law firm (Lackie, Dammeier, McGill & Ethir of Upland) and Lanzillo.

Union defenders don’t seem too chastened by these banana-republic actions, which include an allegation that Lanzillo and Impola illegally placed a GPS device on Mensinger’s car so they could track his movements. For instance, at a recent council meeting, police backers chided Righeimer for suing the union. (The councilmen say their goal isn’t money but to force union officials to testify about what happened.)

The criminal prosecutions — felony counts for illegal use of a tracking device, false imprisonment by deceit, conspiracy to commit a crime and falsely reporting a crime — reinforce what the council members have been saying. But, again, this is not just about two PIs with checkered pasts. It’s about the dirtiest form of politics.

Prosecutors say Lanzillo and Impola were in contact with the law firm’s managing partner the night of the incident. That firm closed following the scandal and allegations of billing misconduct, but had long bragged about its “playbook” of bare-knuckled tactics on behalf of police.

After this story broke in 2012, many unions dumped the firm (including Costa Mesa’s), but they long relished its approach. A 2009 U-T article details how the Escondido Police Officers Association appeared to be taking “some of its cues from the hardball battle plan devised” by these lawyers. The firm may be gone, but two of its key plays — storming city council meetings and accusing reform-minded council members of being enemies of “public safety” — were on display at the recent Costa Mesa council meeting.

This raises an important question: How widespread is this kind of behavior? At a Costa Mesa press conference last year, elected officials from other cities made allegations of police using disturbing tactics to achieve their political goals.

“What kind of world do we live in when the people we give guns and badges to hire private investigators to surveil public officials?” asked Righeimer. Calling it “unseemly,” OC prosecutor Robert Mestman said this case is significant because the victims “are democratically elected city council members.” Mensinger said it seemed Orwellian: “Public officials should not be extorted over public benefits.”

Seems simple enough, but none of it will change without widespread public outrage.

I WASN’T LOOKING FOR CASES- JUST CHECKED THE NEWS- AND SAW THIS.

iT REMINDED ME OF oTHERS i READ THE PAST FEW YEARS.

wHEN i WAS IN n.j. i READ A CASE Where some politician was also targeted by the cops in the same way.

She was voting against some benefit or something- and they kept pulling her over illegaly.

another where they pulled a political enemy over- and did in fact arrest him- and charged him with a DUi- he was not drunk.

It went to court- and they indeed found out the cop lied.

Over the years when I read these- and saw local cases of friends- who according to them- were indeed arrested- FALSELY [because a cop- in a baggie- ‘pulled’ out a Zanax.

this friend swares he did not have- or use Zanax- JUST THE MOST RECENT i HAVE HEARD- OVER MANY- MANY EARS]

Now- these guys with past records- the cops feel they can do this- because when the case goes to court- they know the judge would never believe them.

Why do I believe this- as well as other accounts?

because the cop and the guy are now friends- and according to my friend- he told him a few years later ‘do you remember me?’

the cop said no.

He said he told him ‘you planted that zanax on me 2 years ago- i went to prison’.

he swares the cop [who he now knows- and works for] told him ‘Oh- sorry about that’.

I learned that the guys get comfortable with it- and the cop [or cops] when they have a ‘working relationship’ with the guys- they do indeed do this stuff.

I wrote about many of these cases- gave names- addresses- etc.

The system realizes that it works for them- in this case [above] they use the system- report false crimes- and target political enemies.

In the ones I read over the years- it gave me insight into the minds of these guys.

When John Kagal told me he was asked by a cop ‘what  are you doing’.

he was on a bus bench.

John told me he said ‘just enjoying God’s great day’.

the cop [according to John] slammed the car in park- called him a smart ass- and arrested him.

Now- why do I believe this [there are many others].

John was giving me this account- as a friend.

he was one of the first residents at our halfway house- he was talking as a friend.

This account happened years earlier.

he was not ‘reporting’ something to me.

He just brought it up.

John was an addict and had a record- so the cop just lies on the arrest report- and he just slips thru the system.

This might give some insight to the average Joe- who thinks these things never go on.

http://wp.me/a4V5qQ-8c  Radio show from years ago-

For the word of God is quick , and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined

For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor , as in the day of Midian. 5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire. 6 For unto us a child is born , unto us a son is given : and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor , The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. 8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob,

For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke. 19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened , and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire:

John 7:1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

John 7:11 Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?

John 7:12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.

John 7:14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

John 7:15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

John 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

John 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

John 7:19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

John 7:20 The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

John 7:25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?

John 7:26 But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?

John 7:29 But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.

John 7:33 Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.

John 7:34 Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.

John 7:40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.

John 7:43 So there was a division among the people because of him.

John 7:44 And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.

John 7:45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?

John 7:46 The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

Revelation 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

Revelation 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Revelation 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

Revelation 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Revelation 11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

Revelation 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

Revelation 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Revelation 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

Hebrews 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Hebrews 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things that that of Abel.

Hebrews 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Hebrews 12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

9 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou ? 6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away : for if I go not away , the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart , I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come , he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin , because they believe not on me;10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 Of judgment,because the prince of this world is judged .

48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken , the same shall judge him in the last day. 49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say ,and what I should speak .

For there is nothing covered , that shall not be revealed ; neither hid, that shall not be known . 3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. 4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do . 5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. 2Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. 4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness:

In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left.

In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. 9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Let destruction come upon him at unawares ; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall .

For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

1 Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. 3 Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation. 4 Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. 5 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them. 6 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them. 7 For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul. 8 Let destruction come upon him at unawares ; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall .

And I  alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

Then said he unto me, Fear not,: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand , and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard , and I am come for thy words. 13But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me;

But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

And there was war inheaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out , that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down , which accused them before ourGod day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be . 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking , marrying and giving in marriage , until the day that Noe entered into the ark,39 And knew not until the flood came , and took them all away ; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be . 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken , and the other left . 41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken , and the other left . 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come

And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come .

The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies .

Ye mountains , hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?j

but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be .

In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed , and be cut down , and fall ; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off : for the LORD hath spoken it.

For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined , in the midst of all the land.

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

the stone which the builders disallowed , the same is made the head of the corner,

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak , they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined . 3For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous , whom the LORD abhorreth . 4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. 5 His ways are always grievous ; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies , he puffeth at them. 6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved : for I shall never be in adversity. 7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity. 8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor. 9 He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net. 10 He croucheth , and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones. 11 He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten : he hideth his face; he will never see it. 12Arise , O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand:

He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I  if it be already kindled ?

but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto

If I had not done among them the works which none other man did , they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.

But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come , ye may remember that I told you of them.

This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

GO INTO THE WHOLE WORLD- AND TELL THE STORY- ALL OF YOU- YOU DON’T NEED LOTS OF CASH TO DO IT!

When I was teaching in San Antonio a few weeks ago- I mentioned how ‘anyone can do this’.

Do what?

Basically do the things Jesus taught us [go into the whole world and preach the gospel- baptize- make disciples of all nations].

And do it- without your focus being on how much money it will take to ‘reach the world’.

Look- even a homeless person can do what I do- the only actual physical property I own- for ministry- is a laptop- that’s it.

‘John- what about the great finances needed to do all this’.

That’s what I’m saying- there are NO FINANCES.

Jesus- and the writers of the New Testament did talk about this stuff- and often.

Jesus tells his men ‘when I send you out- don’t take 2 coats- or a purse [wallet] – whatever city you enter- whoever lets you stay there- stay until you leave’.

No ‘big cash faith’ here- as a matter of fact Jesus warned us not to fall for the idea that you need ‘big cash’ to do this.

Then you read In the book of Acts- the same thing.

Paul and the other Apostles/missionaries did this same thing- I quoted Acts 20 a few weeks ago- and Paul is talking to the church leaders- and says ‘when I was with you guys- I worked- supported my self- to give YOU an example’.

Peter actually warns that Pastors are NOT TO SHEPHERD the flock- for ‘filthy money’.

Wow- Peter and Paul obviously weren’t aware of their ‘covenant rights’ as ‘children of the king’

Now- look- the church went thru a stage [still to a degree] where we have taught a whole generation of young people to ‘believe God for lots of wealth- because you can’t reach the world without it’.

Actually- you can reach the world without it- but you need ‘faith’- faith to believe the answer is actually not ‘more cash’ but more obedience- see?

Look at the verses below- how the desire to be rich- the money mindset- is equated with idolatry- and in the list of those who will not ‘inherit the kingdom’ this is one of the sins that keeps people out.

Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

Whose mouths must be stopped , who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre‘s sake.

Keep watch over the flock of God which is in your care, using your authority, not as forced to do so, but gladly; and not for unclean profit but with a ready mind;

And he said unto them, Take heed , and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth .

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have : for he hath said , I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee [note- the apostle says to ‘be content with your present financial state’ [material goods]- he never teaches the idea to believe for more wealth- which would create a ‘discontent’ with their present material goods- It’s important to see this theme all thru out the New Testament- this is not an exception to the rule- but Jesus and the writers of the New Testament- when dealing with money- never teach a doctrine of an ‘abundant kingdom harvest of wealth’ that is not a biblical idea at all].

No man is able to be a servant to two masters: for he will have hate for the one and love for the other, or he will keep to one and have no respect for the other. You may not be servants of God and of wealth.

If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

Few notes- why is it important to see this?

Some of you- even those trained in ministry- might be surprised- just reading thru these verses.

Many good men- trained Pastors- went to bible schools/colleges that rose up in the 20th century- by good men.

But- these schools- though well meaning- in some ways have made the mistake- that Jesus warned about- and taught their good students- a sort of doctrine that focused on the ‘abundant harvest’ and built within these men a belief that you do need lots of wealth to ‘complete the mission’.

Many of these good Pastors find themselves in financial difficulty- often- because they see a big vision for what God wants them to do- and then they fall into an unconscious snare of trying to preach to the people to give more.

And they often unknowingly fall into the trap that these verses warn us about- they begin to ‘desire to be rich’- or have more money- even for a noble cause- but that wrong desire violates the scriptures that teach ‘don’t seek to be rich’.

Ok- few more verses-

But those who have a desire for wealth are falling into danger, and are taken as in a net by a number of foolish and damaging desires, through which men are overtaken by death and destruction.

But people who are trying to get rich fall into temptation. They are trapped by many stupid and harmful passions that plunge people into ruin and destruction [note here- just ‘trying’ to get rich- in this bible verse- is wrong. So- if your’ trying’ thru ‘sowing seed for a kingdom harvest’- or thru ‘a positive money confession’ or thru any other religious method- it’s still wrong- because your mindset is on wealth- and that violates the teaching of these scriptures- see?]

But people who want to get rich keep falling into temptation. They are trapped by many stupid and harmful desires which drown them in destruction and ruin.

But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. [These are bible verses by the way].

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt , and where thieves break through and steal : 20But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt , and where thieves do not break through nor steal : 21 For where your treasure is , there will your heart be also. 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and money.

The dynamic of seeking money so you could do God’s will is simply not found in the ministers we see in the New Testament.

The small finances that were given- both to the ministry of Jesus [note- some teach that Jesus and the disciples had great wealth- actually that’s not so- this too came out of a misguided teaching that I spoke about above] and the Apostles- were primarily for basic needs- and for the poor [1st Corinthians 16].

But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.

So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: 10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away . 11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and theflower thereof falleth , and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth : so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

1 My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. 2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; 3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there,or sit here under my footstool: 4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges ofevil thoughts? 5 Hearken , my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. 2 Your riches are corrupted , and your garments are motheaten. 3 Your gold and silver is cankered ; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. 4 Behold , the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud , crieth : and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. 5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton ; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. 6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

Few notes here- in these verses there is no distinction between the ‘worlds wealth’ and ‘Christian wealth’- meaning- they are not teaching a doctrine that Christians need to believe for great wealth- and that’s ok.

This is important to see- because the good pastors/people who were taught these things- have in many ways been held back- because they see ‘the answer’ as more money- then they begin to seek to ‘be rich’ and they fall into the snare [desire to be rich].

I have been teaching this for years- and I have learned that even good men- Pastors- when they see what I’m teaching here- for the ‘first time’- they see it’s true.

But yet- many have been trained to see ‘faith for the harvest’ as a money thing- and it actually is hard to break from the ‘wealth mindset’- and some never do.

Some have been taught to never listen to this type of ‘re-proof’ because any ‘non wealth’ talk will ruin the harvest [of money].

Some actually use a verse from the epistle of James to teach this ‘a double minded man shall not receive’- even though James hit’s the hardest against this teaching.

Ok- some teaching from Jesus about money and the mission-

‘Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat’ meaning- when you get to the town were you will be preaching- the people in that town will take care of you- in the book of Acts we see this process as well. When the New Testament preachers were spreading the message- they were supported by the Christians in the towns- minimally. In Paul’s case he supported himself at times. The point is- they were not preaching to the people to ‘sow financially into their ministries’ in a way that would make the preachers rich- or the people].

And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:

And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.

And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes , lacked ye any thing? And they said nothing.

What I want you to see in the above verses- is Jesus actually deals with how much ‘abundance’ of money we need for the mission- and in context- none! [Carry neither purse- money].

He is saying that the simplicity of carrying the message- which contains the power in itself to transform lives- only requires that we GO.

Now- to be fair- we do read bible verses where the Apostles and Pastors did receive financial help from those they were preaching to- Paul himself teaches this.

The main point I’m making- is these same preachers [Paul] actually wrote in their letters- to these churches- about the danger of seeking to be rich [quoted some of these in this post].

So- what has happened in some circles- is they have by-passed the actual teaching about wealth- and have used some of the other verses from these same men [about giving- primarily to the poor- Corinthians 16-1Corinthians 16:1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

1Corinthians 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

1Corinthians 16:3 And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.

] and have taught Christians to focus on wealth- which is a contradiction of the actual teaching from these same men.

There might be some good men- Pastors even- reading this- and maybe have never really SEEN THIS.

If you have been steeped in this movement- warning- it’s very hard to break from it- the mindset.

Because it’s hard to let go of a materialistic mind- that’s why the warnings that Jesus gave- are there![ He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.].

Look here- the ‘deceitfulness’ of riches ‘chokes the word’- in this post I’m giving you THE WORD- And as clear as it is- some of you will struggle with what I’m telling you- because the materialistic mind is an obstacle to truth- see?

One more point- I said the only actual material thing I need for what I do- is a laptop.

‘John- what about church buildings- baptism pools- etc.’?

Now- I have written/spoken on this a lot over the years.

But just a brief re-cap

You have seen videos I made this year- many by the bay- or beach- that’s my ‘baptism’ pool- cost to use it?

Zero.

The meetings I’ve done – for many years- well- you saw a few in the pic’s/videos- we met in homes- or anywhere- and held meetings- cost?

Zero.

Now- I am not against church buildings- or baptism pools- etc.

But Jesus and the New Testament preachers had a radical ‘freedom’ in the carrying out of the message- you can read about it in the book of Acts.

They lived the teaching that Jesus gave them ‘when you enter a city- stay with whoever puts you up- eat what they give you- preach- baptize- move on’.

I simply want you guys [especially Pastors] to take another look at ministry- as defined by the New Testament- and Jesus himself.

These guys knew what they were talking about- it worked.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved ; but he that believeth not shall be damned . 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe ; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth , and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following . Amen.

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20

When I survey the wondrous cross

on which the Prince of Glory died;

my richest gain I count but loss,

and pour contempt on all my pride.

  1. Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast,

save in the death of Christ, my God;

all the vain things that charm me most,

I sacrifice them to his blood.

  1. See, from his head, his hands, his feet,

sorrow and love flow mingled down.

Did e’er such love and sorrow meet,

or thorns compose so rich a crown.

  1. Were the whole realm of nature mine,

that were an offering far too small;

love so amazing, so divine,

demands my soul, my life, my all.
